verification and validation testing is performed in
accordance with international conformance standards that
are approved by regulatory authorities and notified bodies.
Aviation-related products are regulated by EASA,
represented in the UK by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
Marine- related products may be approved to the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) in the EU, or IMO/SOLAS. Regulations elsewhere, approved by an appropriate Notified Body. Other products may be approved to the EU Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Directive approved by an appropriate Notified Body.
